“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us."
A.W Tozer
The God of heaven has made Himself known. The Bible is the divinely inspired, complete, spirit-empowered word of God. Through it, God can make one wise for salvation and equip His people sufficiently for life and godliness.
There is One God, existing eternally as Three Persons. He is the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit. He is altogether Holy, Loving, Good, Gracious, and Just. He is the Creator of all things and the Sovereign Lord over all creation.
The pinnacle of God’s creation is Mankind, whom God created in His own Image, male and female. Man was created good, for God’s glory, and to live in fellowship with God.
Mankind has rebelled against their Creator, choosing sin over God. Every person has inherited a sin-nature through the sin of the first man, Adam, and individually acts in willing disobedience to God. That sin and unrighteousness demands the just penalty of the sinner’s eternal separation from God, a demand that cannot be satisfied by any work of the sinner himself. Mankind desperately needs a savior.
God Himself took initiative to save mankind. God sent His Son Jesus Christ to take on human form, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and without a sinful nature. He lived a perfect life, and was crucified on a cross where He bore the full penalty of God’s justice upon Himself for the sin of the world and gave up His life. He was buried, and He was raised from the dead by the power of God, vindicating His worthiness as the sacrifice in place of sinners, and ascended into heaven. By His death and resurrection, salvation is accomplished.
Everyone who believes in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved. Salvation is by God’s grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. All those who believe, repent, and trust in Christ are made righteous before God, may live in loving relationship with Him, are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, grow in holiness together with all believers, and will spend eternity in unity and fellowship with God.
Jesus Christ is coming back. He will return in the same way He left, and He will judge both the living and the dead; those who reject the Savior to eternal condemnation, and those who believe to everlasting life. He will make all things new and establish His perfect reign for all eternity.
